Sectional 158 Federal Credit Union was founded on October 8, 1971 by the Postal Employees of the 158 Zip Code area. In January 1986, the Maple Avenue Hospital Federal Credit Union merged with Sectional 158 FCU. The Credit Union continued to increase membership.
On July 1, 1992, Equimeter Federal Credit Union merged with Sectional 158 Federal Credit Union and continued to grow. In January of 2001, the Board of Directors voted to change the name of the Credit Union to reflect our entire 60+ membership group base to Members Choice – PA Federal Credit Union. Today Members Choice – PA Federal Credit Union has nearly 5000 members.
